Ras Al Khaimah Fishing Port

Project Name: Ras Al Khaimah Fishing Port
Tade: EPC
Client: RAK Municipality
Consultant: -
Status: Completed
Scope of Work:
Elmar Marine Engineering delivered a comprehensive marine infrastructure package covering shoreline protection, reclamation, dredging, slipway construction, and quay wall development.
The scope included the construction of approximately 1,700 linear meters of revetment works, designed to protect the shoreline, control erosion, and enhance the stability and durability of the waterfront edge within a marine environment.
Elmar also carried out land reclamation works covering approximately 50,000 m², creating new usable land area and supporting the development of future marine and landside facilities.
The project further included dredging works of approximately 150,000 m³ to achieve the required seabed levels, improve marine access, and support safe navigation and operational requirements.
In addition, Elmar delivered the construction of a 50-meter-long slipway, providing practical access for vessel launching, retrieval, and marine maintenance operations. The slipway was developed with consideration to load requirements, slope, durability, and safe operational use.
The scope also covered the construction of approximately 350 linear meters of quay wall, forming a robust berthing and waterfront structure. The quay wall works were executed to support marine operations, vessel access, and long-term performance in a demanding coastal environment.
