Project Name: Construction of Breakwater and Relocation of Marina - UAE
Tade: EPC
Client: Confidential
Consultant: -
Status: Completed
Scope of Work:
Elmar Marine Engineering delivered a comprehensive marine infrastructure scope covering revetment protection, land reclamation, dredging, slipway construction, and quay wall works.
The scope included the construction of approximately 1,500 linear meters of revetment works, designed to provide shoreline protection, control erosion, and enhance the long-term stability of the waterfront edge within a demanding marine environment.
Elmar also carried out land reclamation works covering approximately 20,000 m², supporting the development of new usable waterfront areas and preparing the site for subsequent marine and landside infrastructure.
The project further included dredging works of approximately 100,000 m³ up to a depth of -8 meters, enabling safe marine access, required navigation depths, and operational readiness for the waterfront facilities.
In addition, Elmar delivered the construction of a 50-meter-long slipway, providing practical vessel launching, retrieval, and marine operational access. The works were executed with careful consideration of slope, durability, load requirements, and marine usage.
The scope also covered the construction of 333 linear meters of quay wall, forming a robust berthing and waterfront structure. This included the installation of quay wall furniture and associated marine fittings to support safe berthing, mooring, and day-to-day waterfront operations.
