Project Name: Mamsha Al Mugheirah Boardwalk - UAE Tade: EPC Client: Modon Consultant: Atkins Status: Completed Scope of Work: Elmar Marine Engineering delivered the design, supply, and construction of a 1,500 linear meter boardwalk across the mangrove area in the Mirfa Region, providing safe and sustainable public access through a sensitive coastal environment. The scope included the full development of the boardwalk system, covering engineering, material supply, substructure works, and decking installation. The works were carried out with careful consideration of the surrounding mangrove ecosystem, site accessibility, durability, and long-term performance in a marine environment. Elmar also constructed a 30-meter-high viewing tower supported on concrete pile foundations, creating a landmark viewing point for visitors and enhancing the overall destination experience. The tower was designed and executed to provide structural stability, safety, and panoramic views of the surrounding coastal and mangrove landscape. In addition, the project included the construction of dedicated viewing points with shade structures, offering comfortable resting and observation areas along the boardwalk route. The scope also covered lighting and wayfinding signage to improve visitor safety, accessibility, and navigation throughout the development.
